An Overview On The Educational Reform

By Kathleen Lee

Education is one of the most important things in life since this can give the people necessary tools and skills in navigating the world. Having no education cannot let the people learn on how to write, communicate, read, and calculate. This also very important in order to perform the jobs accurately, safely, and competently. People are being taught about the world they are living in.

However, achieving all of these cannot be done automatically. And usually, when investing in education, low returns will be generated to the individuals and the whole society who are involved here. Thus, the education investment would be needed for faster development and prosperity conditions. However, it maybe considered as insufficient. The purpose of this article is to provide some significant information concerning educational reform in the Middle East.

Some reports have been conducted concerning this main issue. The reports are going to explore if past investments have been generating maximum economic returns. Because of these arising questions and concerns, the policymakers chart has been helped in order to become more fruitful as future strategies.

Based on the obtained reports, the economic dimension of an education is more focused instead of the social and the cultural dimensions. There are many questions arising about this issue and usually, these questions are being considered as analytical and comparative in nature. This region have the outcomes being compared to other developing countries.

The impact of this development is considered through in the literature body contexts. Assessing these reform strategies were based on a new analytical framework. This is why labor market outcomes were finally evaluated according to the well functioning of the markets, given those past efforts in a reform.

The reports also cover all the instruction levels including the basic, secondary, and higher levels. This is being considered as a broad coverage, having a rationale that is twofold. First is the link in between the economic development and the human capital will depend on the progress made by the countries in all levels. And second is all the levels will arguably be facing similar problems.

They all need an incentivized and also highly motivated teachers and schools as well as a process that is efficiently functioning. And not only these, they need as well an adequate voice mechanism so the citizens become influential about the priorities, objectives, and resource allocation of education. It is recommended to consider both labor markets and migration importantly.

The findings of the reports have made some significant strides in the sectors and these started from lower levels of a human capital accumulation. But this has not yet fully capitalized on the past investment. The educational systems have not produced the needs of the markets, and markets as well are not being developed sufficiently for absorbing the educated labor forces to most efficient purposes.

With this case, region needs to travel in a new road. The new road is consist of 2 different features. First, the new reform approach and second is one that concerns on closing gaps in between a labor demand and an educated individuals supply.
